Semax 10 x vials
SEMAX — Research Peptide
Semax is a synthetic peptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4–7). Unlike ACTH itself, Semax was developed to investigate neurological and cognitive pathways without the same corticosteroid-stimulating activity.
Semax has been studied primarily in preclinical research and limited human studies, with particular interest in neurobiology, neurotrophic signalling and responses to neurological stress.
🔬 Research Areas
• Cognitive & neurological research — investigated in relation to learning, memory and other cognitive processes
• BDNF & neurotrophic signalling — research has examined potential effects on brain-derived neurotrophic factor and related pathways
• Neuroprotection — studied experimentally in models of neurological and cellular stress
• Neuroplasticity — investigated for potential interactions with pathways involved in neuronal adaptation and plasticity
• Oxidative & inflammatory pathways — studied for possible effects on mechanisms associated with oxidative stress and neuroinflammation
• Cerebral research — investigated in experimental models involving cerebral blood flow and ischemic injury
