Adipotide — Experimental Research Peptide

Adipotide, also known as FTPP (fat-targeted proapoptotic peptide), is an experimental peptide that has been investigated for its ability to target blood vessels associated with white adipose tissue.

Unlike GLP-1–based compounds, adipotide has been researched through a very different mechanism. Preclinical studies have explored whether it can bind to receptors on the vasculature supplying adipose tissue and trigger apoptotic pathways, potentially altering the blood supply to fat tissue.
